It was another busy summer week at the Imbue offices. In addition to our internal projects and client work, our lunch discussions were pretty entertaining too. Here are a few things we talked about:

  • We were all somewhat disappointed in Amazon Prime Day, but not as uproarious as the rest of the Internet seemed to be. #PrimeDayFail. On a good note, Michael P. praised his new Amazon Echo, which he recently purchased, noting its large working radius and breadth of helpful answers.
  • Some of our favorite art movies worth seeing are Helvetica, Frida, and Finding Vivian Maier. (We’re writing a longer list; come back in August to see it on our blog.)
  • We own super cute dogs:

As for work, we got busy on our scientific poster design and layout — a weekly occurrence for our designers, especially as we gear up for autumn and scientific poster season.

Our creative team also designed a series of pharmaceutical case studies for a diagnostic and prognostic testing group. The design was flexible in that it could be easily reformatted for multiple uses, including print, web, and presentations.

Did we mention that our designers were busy? Wrapping up this week is a beautiful 9” x 12” tri-fold brochure for a national client. The piece encompasses their core branding and messaging Imbued with our team’s design and copy-editing magic. We, and they, couldn’t be more pleased with the results.

That’s it for us. So, tell us, what did you buy on Prime Day? Any art movies should we see? Which types of projects would you like to hear more about?
